Alleluia to God: Praise Our God, Our Maker and King, Psa. 105.1-11
We are called to offer thanksgiving and praise to God for who he is and what he has done.
Invocation
Praise to You, O Father and God, for who you are and for the mighty works that you have done. You are our Maker, the creator of the ends of the earth, and our King, the faithful covenant keeper who redeems us from death. Receive our praise and our thanksgiving, for you are the true God, our source of life and strength. Amen.

Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father,
And to the Son and to the Holy Spirit:
As it was in the beginning,
Is now, and ever shall be,
World without end. Amen, amen.

We are called to offer thanksgiving and praise to God for who he is and what he has done, Psa. 105.1-11
Reflection
The Lord Most High, our Maker and King, is worthy of our thanksgiving and praise. We are to give him glory for he is worthy. Because of who he is, his majesty beckons us to give him praise. And, because of what he has done, we are to offer him thanks and lift him up for his miracles, judgments, and wondrous works.
Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
*In the Apostles and Nicene Creeds, the term catholic refers to the Church’s universality, through all ages and times, of all languages and peoples. It refers to no particular tradition or denominational expression (e.g., as in Roman Catholic).
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory for ever. Amen.
Doxology
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him all creatures here below;
Praise Him above ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.
Benediction
Praise to you, O God, our Maker and King, for you alone are the Lord Most High, the eternal God and Lord. Because you are God alone, you deserve thanks; because of your wondrous works, you deserve recognition, honor, and praise. Set our spirits free to worship you and honor you as you deserve.

Scripture Memory
Philippians 4:4-7 (ESV)
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Book Reading and Reflection
Worship is what we were made for. God created man because He wanted relationship. It’s what He’s about, and by now it must be clear that the way—the only way—to an intimate relationship with God is through worship. As we worship, we must be reminded to stay focused on the God of wonder. Worship is NOT the music, the methods, or the messenger. Worship is our expression of love to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, lived out in our daily lives.
